As we all know 2020 is the worst year due to COVID -19, People have been affected by this virus across the world as we can see the number of deaths is too high and we lost many legends too in the same year Actor Rishi Kapoor, Irfan Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput and more.
Impact of covid-19 - As Mental health problems are very common these days. I just want to share some tips to reduce stress and promote well being.
How to Keep Calm yourself?
Meditation is the best key for relaxing your mind, to heal from stress. If you are unable to meditate. Then simply follow basic rule to keep your mind calm like you want. Take a pause, Breathe. Slowly inhale through your nose and then release it slowly. It will help to feel better than earlier. This is a better way to relieve your stress. You make sure to focus on yourself what you are thinking and feeling, Instead of reacting or reacting to those thoughts or feelings without judgment, note them and then let them go. Don't carry burden on your shoulder. Always keep in touch with people close to you or whom you trust more, Tell them how you are feeling. If you are feeling lonely or have stress, then do tell them because they can help you or provide you any solution. Then you will definitely solve your problem. It will lighten your mind and also get some solution. You must make time for your work and rest and give time to do the things that you enjoy, And take regular breaks from screen activities as these also have a deep impact on us. Try to keep yourself busy in some work or activity by which you will get to learn something or you will earn something. You must have heard that saying, empty mind is the house of the devil.
How to Keep or Stay Healthy Yourself- Try to follow a pattern, get up and go to bed at the same time every day, This sets a routine for you. Always keep yourself with personal hygiene. Always eat nutritious food on regular time and do regular exercise just 10 to 15 minutes of walk or stretching helps a lot. It's a must to do activity to stay active. Drink water regularly in small gaps. Eat healthy. Do not follow overeating.
Avoid or Don’t: Do- To deal with your fear, anxiety and social isolation, do not use anything wrong such as, alcohol or drugs. Do not follow any other activity which impact your health badly. Do not expect too much from yourself during difficult days. Recall your days when you used to be better than others and when you have progressed a lot. Stay away from people whom you get and/or give negative vibes by talking to and be in touch with those whom you feel positive by talking to. You can also attend motivational sessions, which gives you a boost up and watch some comedy programs which will change your mind. Try to see how much you see, Read and listen so that you feel anxious and distressed. Take some time out of the day to look for the latest information from some reliable sources.
Always Reach out for help if you need it- Sometimes you are not feeling good in terms of depression, or having health issues and you need help, Do not hesitate to get help from a professional because this maximum happens with those who stays alone or if you have a good society then you also could in touch with your neighbors, they also can support you. A good place to start taking help, can be a local health worker. The helpline can also be a source of help, which is also readily available to the internet. Search online helpline for depression there are many options/sites or number to help you out. Your life is precious, live it with happiness and courage.
If you are able to offer support to people who may need it. By helping people you can save someone's life. Helping others can be good for you too.
